it’s the 4th number 1 song written by Steele/Robson for Rascal Flatts - joining, “What Hurts The Most”, “My Wish”, and “These Days”
Jeffrey’s 9th number 1

There sure were a lot of great events and moments last year and we want to thank all the fans and sponsors, family and friends who helped us through another year.

The year started with Jeffrey’s 5th songwriter of the year crown, 2nd from BMI and song of the year honors for “What Hurts The Most”, which was also nominated from a Grammy. And at years end it’s a Golden Globe Nomination for “I Thought I’d Lost You” performed by Miley Cyrus and John Travolta for the movie “Bolt” ! and a Grammy nod for the song “Everyday” by Rascal Flatts! and a number 1 song with “Here” by Rascal Flatts!

The Alex LeVasseur Fundraiser at Rocketown raised a lot of money for the students and also a lot of awareness about what we are trying to do with the fund.

Alex Fest 2…wow!!!!! Michael McDonald, Kim Carnes, Sara Buxton, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Miley Cyrus rounded out an incredible day of music, skating, hugging, and being with family and friends outdoors at the Jim Warren Skate park!

The Tony Hawk Skate Demo in the Hamptons was dope!!!!!  What an amazing day for our winner.  He got to spend the whole day hanging out with Tony Hawk and his incredible bmx and skate team enjoying all kinds of events there.  And D.J. Barbara Barri put us up at her lake house where we canoed and relaxed.

This years 3rd Annual Boot Camp was so much fun.  We got to hear from previous members and what they are doing now.  Spent time in the studio, had great speakers, ans of course wrote non-stop! Followed by a surprise trip to the CMA Hall of Fame for Jeffrey’s Induction as Poet and Prophet, then we did our writers night at 3rd and Lindsley which was amazing.

We even won!!! hahaha wow and Sebastian insisted I be his video guitar man, thanks my friend.

Nashville Star on NBC put Jeffrey in the role of judge with John Rich and Jewel for 11 weeks of pure fun!  We made many new friends on the set of that show and thank all of them for the opportunity.

Our Parkinsons Fundraiser in Atlanta for the 4th year for our friend and hero Tamara Cantore was a blast and raised some big bucks for the ongoing research and cure of this debilitating disease! In between were a lot of crazy great shows all over the world, some of you traveling many times to say hi! Thank you for your dedication!

On the writing side many joyous fun moments in the studio with: Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Phil Vassar, Jewel, John Rich, Ricky Young, Tom Hambridge, Stevie C., Sebastian Bach, Shane Minor, Dean Dillon, Rachel Tibodeaux, David Foster, Mac Davis, John Shanks, Kara Dioguardi, Miley Cyrus, Craig, Bob, Tony, Bobby Pinson, Jesse Littleton, Pearl Heart, Melissa Lawson, Ashlee Hewitt, Chuck Jones, Marti Fredrickson, Vicky Mcgeehee, Gretchen Wilson, Hilary Williams, Nick Carter, Lo Cash Cowboys, and many many many more. Sorry if we didn’t mention, we’ll scan back and try to get all we missed.
A lot of songs were written, recorded, cut, singled, and became hits! But regardless of that, was the joy so thank you!

“Me and My Gang” was used in a Ford commercial ad and is featured in this years Guitar Hero World Tour game!
